UN 81st General Assembly Started in New York

At the 193-member UN Headquarters in New York, state and government leaders and foreign ministers will evaluate the prominent topics of the global agenda from the General Assembly podium between 22-28 September.

Within the scope of the 81st General Assembly, which was held with the theme "Reestablishing trust, managing transformation: A UN that produces results for everyone", many issues will be discussed, especially the developments in the Middle East, the genocide in Gaza, the Ukrainian war, conflicts, global security, climate change, development and the problems facing the international system.

During the General Assembly week, where Türkiye is represented by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, leaders as well as senior executives of the UN and international organizations will hold various contacts.
