Explosion in Boyçelik: 3 workers affected by smoke

According to the information obtained, an explosion occurred in the compressor room of Boyçelik Metal Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., located on 37th Street in the Organized Industrial Zone of Melikgazi district, for an unknown reason.

After the explosion, a fire broke out in the factory, and 3 workers were affected by the smoke. Upon notice, police, health and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the area. While police teams took security measures in the surrounding area, fire brigades also intervened in the fire.

Medical teams also took 3 workers, who were affected by the smoke in the fire, to the hospital by ambulance after the first aid. While the fire was brought under control as a result of the short-term work of the teams, the fire was completely extinguished after cooling efforts.

An investigation has been launched into the incident.
