Lando Norris wins in Brazil, Mercedes becomes teams' champion

The excitement in Formula 1 continued with the Sao Paulo Grand Prix. The race was held over 71 laps on Sao Paulo's 4,309-meter Jose Carlos Pace Track. McLaren's British pilot Lando Norris, who started the race in pole position, became the first driver to see the checkered flag with a time of 1:35:23.504. Thus, Norris achieved his 3rd victory of this season. In Brazil, Red Bull's Max Verstappen finished second and Isack Hadjar from the same team finished third.

CHAMPION IN TEAMS MERCEDES

Mercedes' 20-year-old Italian pilot Kimi Antonelli declared his championship last week. Mercedes also became the teams' champion with 3 races left. Mercedes, which won the championship in teams after 2021, won its 9th championship in total and caught up with Williams in the general rankings. Mercedes became champion in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2026.
