BSW MEP calls on Germany to get out of the escalation spiral and start a dialogue with Russia

Germany must break out of the spiral of escalation and enter into dialogue with Russia. This call was made by Member of the European Parliament and co-chairman of the German party “Sarah Wagenknecht Union - For Reason and Justice” (BSW), Fabio De Masi, his words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

He noted that the German authorities' allegations about Moscow's involvement in the incident with drones at Leipzig airport are unfounded. “An unexploded drone and sanctions immediately fall. (...) What evidence is there really?” - said the deputy.

At the same time, he pointed out, during the investigation of the Nord Stream bombing, the German prosecutor’s office established the involvement of a Ukrainian citizen in the terrorist attack, but nevertheless, the European Union (EU) sent 90 billion euros to the “Ukrainian oligarchs” “to prolong the obviously losing war of attrition.”

“We need to break out of this spiral of escalation... We need channels for dialogue with Russia to put an end to this madness,” De Masi stressed.
