In Bursa, S.U., who was violent towards the cat on his lap and hit it to the ground by holding its head, was caught by the police teams.

The incident took place around 08:00 on September 14, in Soğanlı District of Osmangazi district. S.U., who was allegedly drunk, grabbed the cat in his arms by the head and hit it to the ground. Those moments were reflected on the security camera of a nearby apartment building. In the footage, it was seen that S.U., who had difficulty standing, first squeezed the cat in his lap, then grabbed its head and quickly hit it to the ground. The moments when the cat screamed in pain while in the suspect's lap and the moments when it was hit on the ground by the suspect were also heard in the video. The neighborhood residents who watched the footage reacted to the situation.

Police teams took action upon the complaint and started an operation to catch the suspect. The teams caught the suspect S.U. at his address during the operation. The suspect, who was taken into custody, is still being processed at the police station.
