On the same day, the Information Office of the People's Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region held a press conference to introduce the 16th Traditional Ethnic Minority Sports Games of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (hereinafter referred to as the Games). Qin Hanhua said that with the purpose of equality, unity, hard work and progress, this Games will have 17 competition events and 3 categories of performance events. It is expected that the total number of participating athletes, coaches, team leaders and referees will be about 3,000. Among them, the name of the mascot "Dragon Baby" was directly taken from the Chinese cultural symbol "dragon".
