In Naberezhnye Chelny, a mother was detained on suspicion of murdering her one-and-a-half-year-old daughter

KAZAN, September 17 – RIA Novosti. A one-and-a-half-year-old girl was found dead with stab wounds in Naberezhnye Chelny, and the child’s mother was detained on suspicion of murder, reports the investigative department of the RF Investigative Committee for Tatarstan.

“In the apartment of one of the houses on Akhmetshina Street in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, the body of a 1.5-year-old girl was found with signs of violent death in the form of multiple stab wounds,” the report says.

Based on this fact, a criminal case was initiated under paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder of a minor).

The child’s 24-year-old mother was detained on suspicion of committing a crime, the Sustainable Crime Control Department clarified. In the near future, the investigation will petition the court to impose a preventive measure against her in the form of detention.
