Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said the US plan for the Gaza Strip had failed.

He noted that the United States has problems with its NATO allies and emphasized that the desire to be “unipolar” is deeply rooted in the Americans.

Russia will continue to work in the UN, CSTO, CIS, EAEU, and also sees prospects in the SCO and BRICS.

“The plan for the Gaza Strip is failing - Israel doesn’t want it. (US President - ed.) Donald Trump has problems with his NATO allies: with Canada, with Denmark in connection with Greenland. And he says to many others that they don’t understand anything. The desire to lead and be ‘unipolar’ is deeply rooted in the Americans,” Lavrov told the RBC TV channel.

Russia communicates with the United States, communicates with everyone who contacts us, Lavrov said.

“This does not mean that we agree with everyone on everything. US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin always say that they are always ready to listen to each other without engagement. This is politics, this is diplomacy,” Lavrov emphasized.

In parallel with this, Russia will continue to work in the UN, CSTO, CIS, and EAEU, Lavrov noted.
