The Ukrainian military transmits data about the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces through leaflets of the Russian Armed Forces in Dobropillya

The Ukrainian military is transmitting information about the location of positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Dobropillya in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) using leaflets distributed by the Russian Armed Forces. The commander of the UAV crew, Ilya Melnikov, spoke about this, as quoted by TASS.

According to him, such cases are widespread. Military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine transmit information through the QR code indicated on the leaflet, after which they voluntarily surrender and lay down their arms.

In addition, Melnikov said that civilians are also actively using the distributed leaflets and helping Russian fighters. He noted that on the back of the materials there is an appeal to the civilian population to assist the Russian Armed Forces in defeating military targets. The serviceman clarified that such cases of assistance are “quite widespread.”
