The Ministry of Health plans to update the procedure for preventive examinations and medical examinations

The chief freelance specialist in medical prevention of the Ministry of Health, Lyubov Drozdova, said that the department plans to update the procedure for conducting preventive medical examinations and medical examinations of the adult population. Her words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

“The proposed changes make clinical examination more personalized, expanding the range of studies for specific risk groups,” she emphasized.

In particular, guarantees have been expanded for combat veterans - participants in a special military operation. The updated clinical examination included studies on the risk of developing cardiovascular pathologies and atherosclerosis, and also added ultrasound of the abdominal aorta. In addition, on the first day of medical examination, a consultation with a medical psychologist became mandatory.
