"Facial Senses Health C909 Aircraft Hospital" Kyrgyzstan charity trip project launched in Bishkek

Wu Zhengyi, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Fudan University and secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Medical College, said that using the aircraft hospital as a carrier to deliver high-quality specialized medical care to countries along the Belt and Road, promoting international cultural exchanges with medical public welfare, and practicing the concept of a human health community, this not only reflects the responsibility of Fudan Shanghai Medical Affiliated Hospital, but also vividly interprets the core of Shanghai Medical Spirit of "serving the people and striving for a strong country."

It is reported that the types of otolaryngology surgeries performed by the aircraft hospital have been expanded from ophthalmology to otolaryngology, laying the foundation for the airborne surgery cabin to extend diagnostic and treatment services to more specialized fields.

Since completing its first demonstration flight in Shihezi, Xinjiang in September 2025, the aircraft hospital has successively carried out cross-border public welfare medical practices in Vientiane, Laos and Almaty, Kazakhstan. The Kazakhstan station signed a cooperation agreement with local universities and medical institutions to jointly initiate the establishment of the "Aircraft Hospital Central Asia Eye Medical Alliance".
