Exceptional heat in the Centre-South: red marks for Bari and Palermo

The exceptional heat of this summer persists in the Centre-South and on Saturday the red dots will appear again, fortunately only two: these are Bari and Palermo, marked with the maximum level of heat risk for the entire population in the heat wave bulletin of the Ministry of Health which takes into consideration 27 urban centres. Also on Saturday, the orange dots disappear which indicate the risk of heat only for the most fragile: today there are 7 and tomorrow 4, including both days in the same regional capitals of Puglia and Sicily. Today, in particular, Ancona, Bologna, Campobasso, Florence (tomorrow and Saturday in green) and Rome (tomorrow and Friday in yellow) are also in orange. Tomorrow, in addition to Bari and Palermo, the hot risk for the most fragile will once again concern Campobasso and Pescara. On both Friday and Saturday there is a clear prevalence of green dots (no heat risk): there will be as many as 20 tomorrow and 16 on Saturday, while today there are 8. The yellow dots (pre-alert status for a possible heat wave) will be 3 on Friday and 9 on Saturday: today there are 12.
