Calenda welcomes Marcucci's appeal: towards an autonomous liberal front

The leader of Action, Carlo Calenda, welcomes "with pleasure" the appeal for the unity of the liberal forces launched by the president of the Liberal Democratic Party, Andrea Marcucci, and relaunches the project of an area autonomous from the two sides.

"We are working fruitfully with Pina Picierno, Spazio Pubblico, Europeanists and many others to build, in view of the next political elections, a pro-European, liberal and popular front, independent of the two poles", writes Calenda on X, hoping that "+Europa will also remain faithful to its original mission and join the project".

"We are here to work together, knowing that on some topics there are differences and distances which can however be easily bridged. It is our duty to try", he highlights.
