Candidates for the government of Mato Grosso do Sul hold campaign agendas in Campo Grande

The agenda of candidates for the government of Mato Grosso do Sul João Henrique Catan (NOVO) and Lucien Rezende (PSOL) was marked, this Monday (25), by tours and meetings with voters in Campo Grande.

🔎 On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, TV Morena shows the campaign agenda of government candidates who registered 5% or more of voting intentions in the Quaest/TV Morena survey.

João Henrique Catan made a motorcade in the capital through the streets of the Sardinha América, Vila Carvalho, Marcos Roberto and Jockey Club neighborhoods.

During the journey, the Novo Party candidate honked his horn on one of the region's main roads, Avenida das Bandeiras.

He spoke on the loudspeaker about the fight against corruption and stated that this will be one of the pillars of his government, if elected.

Catan also walked down the street to thank voters for their support, hand out saints and ask drivers for their votes. He spoke to traders and promised to value the military police.

"My civil servant has to know that while he goes out to face the criminals, there in Cacemes, we are going to revoke his spouse's fee, giving him dignity to leave. We are going to increase the food aid because there is no justice that justifies an assistant to a councilor. A councilor receives an aid of 3.5 thousand reais, the governor, whatever, and my police receive 100 reais."

The PSOL candidate, Lucien Rezende, campaigned in the center of Campo Grande. The candidate was accompanied by some supporters.

At Praça Ari Coelho, Lucien Rezende greeted voters, talked to people nearby and listened to the population's demands. He also took the opportunity to ask for votes.

When approaching women, the candidate said he will work to combat feminicide, with policies that value women, such as social rent for women victims of violence, who will be able to receive assistance and even get housing offered by the government.

"Today we are seeing a record-breaking feminicide this year and we see that there isn't much of a project, there isn't much effort to reduce this feminicide."

The candidate also spoke about other proposals focused on the area of ​​public security.

"Today we have a border of more than 1,300 kilometers of dry border. We must have special drones today to be able to carry out this inspection on our border. And what's more, equip our security professionals more. Including having mental treatment for these professionals, because they work under pressure as well. Having a camera on the uniform to protect the police officer and protect whoever is being approached and, without a doubt, increase the security of care for our women."

The other candidates for government, with four percentage points in the latest Quest TV Morena survey, did not send their agenda for this Tuesday.
