Candidates for the government of Acre highlight the importance of the debate on the Amazon Network

Thor Dantas (PSB) pointed out that holding the debate close to voting day allows for better outreach to voters. "I hope it will be a high-level, purposeful debate, so that people can finally make their decision, because there are still a lot of undecided people, who still don't know who they are going to vote for in this final stretch. So, this is the ideal moment for people to form their conviction about the best candidates," he said.

Upon arriving at the station, Mailza Assis (PP) celebrated the opportunity to present his proposals and confront his opponents. "A good opportunity to talk to the public, with our population, to show our proposals and it will be a good debate. I want to thank everyone for participating, you who are watching, listening to us, who opened the door to your home for this moment and I am here at your disposal," he commented.

Tião Bocalom (PSDB) highlighted the importance of the debate for an equal exposition of ideas between the candidates. "As I have little television time, I have no doubt that the debate is the moment when I can talk more about my projects and the population can see Bocalom better, despite it being my fourth campaign for governor of the state," he said.

Alan Rick (Republicans) was the first to arrive and highlighted the positive expectation for the meeting between the candidates for the Acre Government Palace. "I'm very hopeful that we can show the public the truth, our proposals, what we have to present as solutions," he declared.

Candidates from parties and federations with a minimum representation of five parliamentarians in the National Congress or who reached at least 5% of voting intentions in the first Quaest survey released in August were invited.

The debate will be mediated by Fabiano Villela and will be based on:

questions among the candidates, which will be drawn during the program;

themes of free choice; and

specific themes of interest to the voter.

The debate starts at 8:15 pm (10:15 pm Brasília time), after the soap opera Quem Ama Cuida.
