Candidates for the government of Maranhão present sports and leisure proposals in their campaign agenda

Candidates for the government of Maranhão Saulo Arcângeli (PSTU), Eduardo Braide (PSD) and Felipe Camarão (PT) completed their campaign agenda this Wednesday (9) and presented proposals focused on sport and leisure.

Candidate Eduardo Braide participated in a campaign action in the Alemania neighborhood, in São Luís.

Braide has already been a state deputy, federal deputy and mayor of São Luís for two terms. For sport, he proposes the implementation and modernization of sports spaces in different regions of Maranhão.

The candidate also stated that he intends to build multi-sports courts in state schools and expand leisure spaces in municipalities in the interior.

"We are going to do this. In the leisure area, we are going to build the long-awaited Orla do Canecão, there in Grajaú. The extension of Beira Rio, towards Praia do Cacau and Imperatriz. Orla de Balsas, extending and revitalizing Orla de Balsas."

Braide also cited proposals for the construction and revitalization of waterfronts in municipalities
