Candidates begin campaign agenda in Belém and metropolitan region for 2026 elections

Among the day's activities, there were walks in neighborhoods, leafleting at universities and public roads, meetings with supporters, as well as recordings of electoral propaganda.

The first round of elections is scheduled for October 4, 2026. The second round, if necessary, will take place on the 25th of the same month.

Candidate Araceli Lemos (PSOL) started her campaign agenda in the morning, at 9am, with a visit to the fair in the Cabanagem neighborhood, in Belém. In the afternoon, at 3pm, she participated in a plenary session on housing. In the evening, from 6pm onwards, the candidate took a walk on Avenida Visconde de Souza Franco (Doca), in support of President Lula.

Candidate Daniel Santos (PODEMOS) completed an agenda in municipalities in the interior and the Metropolitan Region of Belém. In the morning and early afternoon, he held campaign events in Cametá. In the late afternoon, at 4pm, the candidate participated in a gathering at the entrance to Guerra, in Benevides.

Candidate Hana Ghassan (MDB) started the day at 10 am, giving an interview to a local radio station in Belém. In the early afternoon, at 1 pm, she completed an institutional government agenda. In the late afternoon, at 5pm, the candidate gave an interview to a podcast.

Candidate Well Macêdo (PSTU) began her campaign activities at 7 am, with a leafleting on the campus of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), in Belém. In the late afternoon, at 5 pm, she carried out another leafleting on Travessa Padre Eutíquio, in front of a shopping center. In the evening, from 7pm onwards, the candidate met with leaders of social movements.
