Carlos Alcaraz qualifies for the ATP Finals in Turin thanks to the protective rule for Slam winners

With a post on social media, the ATP announced that Carlos Alcaraz is the third qualifier for the Finals in Turin, scheduled from 15 to 22 November.

The Spaniard, although he is behind Ben Shelton with 380 points behind in the Race, unlike the American, benefits from a rule that protects players, already arithmetically certain of ranking in the top 20, who however have won a Slam in the current year.

Alcaraz, therefore, joins Jannik Sinner and Sascha Zverev as the third official qualifier.
