Cells and social media: five young people investigated for party videos in Treviso

Five young people, including those accused of the murder of a young man from Treviso, are under investigation for the diffusion on social media of a video shot in a cell of the Treviso penitentiary in which they were celebrating the release from prison of one of their companions.

The Treviso Prosecutor's Office - wrote today the Gazzettino, the Tribuna di Treviso and the Corriere del Veneto - has notified the closure of the investigations against Riccardo Angelo Ozuna, 27 years old and Toluwaloju McLinkspual Ade, 22 years old, already on trial for the murder of the twenty-year-old Francesco Favaretto, which occurred in December 2024. The prosecutor Giulia Rizzo hypothesized the crime of undue access to devices suitable for communication by of detained subjects, which provides for a sentence of one to four years.

Also under investigation are the Bangladeshi trapper Shakil Ahmed "Chakaloko", 26 years old, already expelled and repatriated, Ismael Dah, 22 years old, Ivorian, and Moussa Dieng, 22 years old, Senegalese. There were three videos posted, and they portrayed the young people dancing in their cells to the rhythm of 'trap' music. A few days earlier they had appeared in the Court of Assizes in the trial for the murder of Favaretto, which occurred during a fight in Treviso; in July, in the following hearing, they apologized, but since then they have been in solitary confinement.
