We tried to manage this process with great cooperation and devotion with our NEW Party friends, the deputy chairman, our organizations and municipalities. However, the betrayal came from within. We saw how the friends who went behind the ballot box and voted voted. Ultimately, we are not in a position to know. We would like to point out that what was done by friends who were elected from the lists of the Republican People's Party and voted for the AKP was a great immorality. In addition, what was more immoral was that of those who were in the Republican People's Party and pretended to be members of the Republican People's Party and voted for the AKP.
We consider these as greater immorality. Therefore, we did everything we could to prevent AKP from winning this municipality in these elections, but we failed. "As you know, we, as the Central Executive Board, which took office on June 2, said that one of the most important goals we set was the will to hold a congress by asking our own organization and including our own organization in the decision-making processes, in order to quickly get the Republican People's Party out of this situation within the given legal system and within the framework of the court decision. However, in order for the party to be able to hold congresses, it had to be prepared for the congresses. For this, as you know, we gradually made evaluations about our provinces and districts. The process is still ongoing with our districts and provinces; we have completed a very important part of it and the Republican People's Party is now ready to hold its congresses.

What we planned continues exactly as we planned. As we have declared to the public, we are moving in this direction. We have decided to start the Republican People's Party congresses within the framework of an organizational reform in which the Republican People's Party organization will be more involved in the decision-making mechanisms of the Republican People's Party in the coming period, in order to include our organizations, which are the main carriers of the party's policies, in a decision-making mechanism, to include them in the process and to make the will of our organizations dominant in the future of the Republican People's Party.

In other words, a person who is at the head of the executive, the President, according to the current country system and a metropolitan mayor belonging to the Republican People's Party can convey his thoughts, ideas, exchange of views and demands in Ankara, especially on issues related to the central government.
