CHP started an internal debate about dues deducted from MPs' salaries

CHP examined the decisions taken regarding the dues deducted from MP salaries during the Özgür Özel period. A decision was also made regarding dues in CHP's Abant camp. Accordingly, 45 thousand liras will be deducted from MPs' salaries for dues in three months. A CHP deputy said, "Distributing the accumulated money in the group is an Eastern cunning. The dues, which are deducted equally every three months from all MPs, were divided into 138 and the money of the MPs was thus withdrawn from the group."

'This matter will be investigated'

Speaking to Milliyet, the MPs said, "The Group Management of that day returned the money previously collected as dues to the departed MPs. They do not have the authority to do such a thing. Because they are dues, they were collected for the needs of the CHP Group for the expenses of the party group. Therefore, it is money belonging to the CHP Group. It cannot be returned. CHP MPs said, "The victim is CHP and its coffers" and continued: "We have not yet received those documents from the Özgür Özel team.
