The fire occurred around 17.30 on Esentepe District 2850th Street. Allegedly, thinner was spilled into the garbage container. After the thinner leaked from the container and spread to the environment, the cigarette butt thrown on the ground by the worker working in the textile enterprise came into contact with the thinner.

As the flames rose suddenly, the fire spread to the parked light commercial vehicle. Upon notice, police, health and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene. People around intervened in the flames with their own means.
