Cornell University: What runs through: The silence of men

When I spoke to friends in the past few days, it was never without one of us bringing up this topic: the Cornell Seven.

First of all, there are the frightening allegations that one simply cannot get used to, no matter how widespread sexual violence is at US universities and elsewhere: A young woman was raped for hours by seven students at the elite Cornell University in New York State. She went to the Chi Phi fraternity house in the fall of 2024 to meet a friend there that evening. Later, two of the accused men pressured her to take the anesthetic ketamine. As a result, she was completely defenseless during the night.
