穎崴早在2019年就開始布局CPO測試,當時台灣、甚至國際間對CPO的討論都還不多。陳紹焜指出,CPO測試涉及光學對位、波長、精度及速度等多項要求,CPO現階段最大的產業瓶頸並非「做不做得出來」,而是能否進一步做到自動化及規模化量產;CPO每個環節都面臨精度與速度的挑戰,尤其光學相關測試需要高度精準的對位及控制,若許多流程仍無法自動化,測試速度就難以提升,因此目前即使能夠完成CPO封裝,要進一步擴大至量產規模,仍有不少技術需要突破。

從市場發展時程來看,陳紹焜認為,2025年可視為CPO元年,2026年則開始逐步建置相關基礎設施及量產條件;若要進入自動化、可量產階段,預期2027年下半年可能先出現部分小量需求,但真正形成較大規模的市場,可能要等到2028年後。
