Cremona turned upside down due to the bad weather: firefighters and volunteers working non-stop

It was another night of work in Cremona, where people are working tirelessly to deal with the damage from the violent wave of bad weather that hit on Friday afternoon. Civil Protection volunteers and municipal workers haven't slept for 48 hours. And it's an endless shift for the firefighters, who have guaranteed another fifty interventions, including the removal of fallen trees in parks and on the streets and the safety of the chipped roofs of the houses.

In particular, the Cathedral remains under observation, damaged not only in its severed spire: the 115 operators themselves have begun the first checks, also using drones, to evaluate the structural conditions, which at least according to the first investigations appear good. In the city that is slowly trying to get back on its feet, there are also dozens and dozens of private individuals at work who, armed with brooms, shovels and chainsaws, are trying to regain the normality they had lost in less than ten minutes of bad weather.
