Cumhuriyet is reporting from Silivri... Day 97 in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality case: İmamoğlu did not come to the courtroom, the final defenses of the second hearing are being completed.

The IMM trial, with 436 defendants, 53 of whom are detained, including Elected Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, continues on its 97th day, in the new courtroom of the Marmara Closed Prison in Silivri.

The second hearing of the case, in which the defense statements of the detained defendants were taken, started on August 17, and the last week of the hearing has entered.

While 9 of the 341 people who were tried without detention are fugitives, Serkan Aydın, the only remaining undetained person, is expected to make his defense at today's hearing.

It is expected that Ayhan Subaşı, Aytekin Karaarslan, Fatih Temür, Murat Dağdeviren, Nilgün Cendek and Tolga Kılıç, who were included in the file within the scope of the additional indictment against Ağaç AŞ, completed their defense today.

General Manager Ali Sukas and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club President Fatih Keleş, who are tried as detainees in the main file and are also included in the additional indictment against Ağaç AŞ, will also make their defense within the scope of the additional indictment today.

Tomorrow, Ekrem İmamoğlu, who could not make his defense in the first session, is expected to make his defense and the second session is expected to be completed.

Ekrem İmamoğlu did not come to the courtroom on today's hearing.
