Wei Pingzheng, the candidate for Changhua County Mayor of the Kuomintang, said today (5th) that New Taipei City Deputy Mayor Liu Heran met with him a few days ago and made it clear that he would fully support the election and would focus on street sweeping in the 4 townships in the southwest corner. As for County Mayor Wang Huimei, he respected his arrangement. In this regard, Hong Zongyi, chief executive officer of Chen Suyuejing, the Democratic Progressive Party's candidate for Changhua County Mayor, said that Liu Heran has been away from his hometown for more than 40 years. Whether he understands the latest situation in Changhua or not, relevant opponents' arrangements will be respected.

Wei Pingzheng pointed out that Liu Heran took advantage of the regular meeting of the New Taipei City Council to come to Shetou on October 2, and the two parties exchanged views on policies, because whether it is the Dome, the MRT network, or social welfare, New Taipei City is worth learning from Changhua County and exchanging opinions with each other.

Wei Pingzheng emphasized that Liu Heran was a son of Zhutang and promised to help him in the election, especially in the street sweeping department, and would focus on his natal district, namely Erlin, Fangyuan, Dacheng and Zhutang, to canvass votes with all his strength. On October 17th, Zhongchang Touyun will launch a big campaign. It remains to be seen whether there will be other big figures in the party taking the stage. He will also separately invite Hanguo Yu to come to the Changhua stage. As for County Magistrate Wang Huimei, I am very much looking forward to it, but will respect her arrangements and wishes.

In response to Wei Pingzheng's invitation to Liu Heran to return to his hometown to support the election, Hong Zongyi said that Chen Suyue will follow her own steps and work hard to move forward with strength and hard work. She believes that voters have clear eyes.
