Hsinchu mayoral candidate Zhuang Jingcheng criticizes Gao Hong'an for delaying his vision policy and is going out of his way

The Hsinchu City Government issued a press release yesterday stating that the Urban Vision Exhibition, originally scheduled to be held from October 3 to October 18, has been postponed to December 5 because the venue license has not been obtained. Zhuang Jingcheng, candidate for mayor of Hsinchu of the Democratic Progressive Party, criticized Gao Hong'an for a large-scale event worth 30 million yuan with less than 7 days left to open. Citizens did not care when the exhibition would be re-opened, but Gao Hong'an's policies were so absurd and rigid. No wonder he always ranked last in policy satisfaction.

Zhuang Jingcheng pointed out that the "Urban Vision Exhibition", which the city government spent more than 30 million and prepared for more than half a year, was unexpectedly canceled less than a week before the opening. Gao Hongan also held a press conference beforehand. Even on the city government's official line, major Facebook groups, and Roman flags on the streets, event information can be seen everywhere. As a result, Gao Hongan stopped the event as soon as he said it was stopped, treating the municipal government as a child's play. It's no wonder that he would use the money spent on fresh milk for students and grassroots sports training to hold concerts.

Zhuang Jingcheng believes that during the preparations for the event, Gao Hongan was absolutely aware of the information that the venue did not have a license, but still announced the opening with great fanfare. Now that he "ran away", whether it meant that the content of the exhibition and the progress of the execution were "opening the sky", he decided to blame the "license" and called on Gao Hongan to come forward and make it clear to the public.

Zhuang Jingcheng said that the venue was selected by the city government itself, the event was sponsored by the city government, and the bid was contracted by the city government. What Gao Hongan should explain is not when the exhibition will be re-organized, but how Gao Hongan made decisions in the past six months, how he made continuous wrong judgments, and whether temporary cancellations will increase additional costs. Gao Hongan cannot find excuses and blame the manufacturer, and let innocent citizens bear the responsibility in the end.
