In fact, as early as last year, the Chang'an Procuratorate launched an investigation into former DPP county councilor Jiang Xiong Yifeng for fraudulently claiming more than 4.87 million yuan in assistant fees. After being transferred to the Changhua District Court, the case has been adjourned to this day.

Although Jiang Xiong Yifeng was detained, she still participated in the party's county council primary election and was nominated. Her husband, former legislator Jiang Zhaoyi, received the petition for her and registered to run for election as a non-party member.
