A 28-year-old woman surnamed Wu from Kaohsiung was driving a car with her boyfriend surnamed Wu. When she was passing through East 7th Street of Fine Arts in Gushan District, she hit a telephone pole on the roadside due to a suspected gear shift error. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident, but the police officer noticed that Wu was in poor mental condition and there was a suspected smell of K cigarettes in the car.

The police performed a saliva drug rapid screen on Wu, and it turned out to be positive. The police immediately checked the items in the car and unexpectedly found 2 packages of drug coffee bags and 1 package of K-damine. After the entire case was inquired, the case was transferred for investigation in accordance with the Public Danger and Drug Harm Prevention Act.

The Gushan Branch stated today (29th) that officers from the Longhua Police Station received a report of a traffic accident on Meishu East 7th Street in Gushan District at about 23:00 last night. After investigation, a car surnamed Wu (28 years old) was driving a car, carrying a man surnamed Wu (27 years old), while traveling from east to west along Meishu Dongqi Street. It was suspected that the gear was operated incorrectly and hit a roadside telephone pole. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident.

After the police arrived at the scene, they found that Ms. Wu was in poor mental condition and agitated, and that there was a suspected drug smell wafting from the scene. They then conducted a saliva drug test on her, and the result was positive for ketamine. She was arrested on the spot on suspicion of public danger.

The police found 2 packs of drug coffee bags and 1 pack of K-tamine at the scene. Wu Nan, a passenger in the same car, voluntarily handed over the K-tamine filter for police to seize and returned to the station to collect urine for testing. The case was later transferred for investigation in accordance with the Drug Hazard Prevention Regulations.

In addition, Wu's behavior of driving after taking drugs violated the provisions of Article 35, Paragraph 1, Paragraph 2 of the Road Traffic Management Punishment Regulations, and she will be fined NT$150,000 and her driver's license will be revoked in accordance with the law.
