Polyansky spoke about Russophobia to extremes in German politics

Germany demonstrates to what extremes the policy of Russophobia can reach in Europe. This was stated by Russia's permanent representative to the OSCE Dmitry Polyansky, RIA Novosti reports.

“Germany here, it seems to me, is the best example of how crazy this can all get,” he said.

The diplomat noted that Russophobia has become firmly established in the arsenal of European elites who are focused on confrontation with Russia. At the same time, according to him, European countries have already “come very far” in this fight, without noticing the contradictions between the methods used and the values ​​they proclaim.

Polyansky separately clarified that Moscow views Germany’s decision to tighten controls over the entry of Russian citizens and to close the Russian Consulate General in Bonn as a bilateral issue. He noted that this decision is not submitted to international platforms.
