Chocolate nesting dolls and traditional Indian sweets were prepared in New Delhi in honor of the arrival of Russian President Vladimir Putin at the BRICS summit.

The confectioners created chocolate nesting dolls symbolizing Russian cultural heritage, as well as a composition depicting architectural landmarks of Russia.

NEW DELHI, September 12 – RIA Novosti. New Delhi prepared chocolate nesting dolls and traditional Indian sweets for Russian President Vladimir Putin in honor of his arrival at the BRICS summit, NDTV reported, citing hotel representatives.

According to the TV channel, for his arrival, confectioners created chocolate nesting dolls, symbolizing Russian cultural heritage, traditions, unity and continuity, as well as a chocolate composition depicting architectural landmarks of Russia.

"The chefs also prepared a thali with traditional Indian sweets and chocolates infused with cardamom, saffron, rose, ginger and fennel, paying tribute to both cultures," NDTV said in a release.

The published photo shows five nesting dolls of different sizes with floral patterns, a composition with the inscription Moscow and a sweet design with the emblem of the BRICS summit.
