As a result of the accident, 13 people died, including two children, and eight victims were taken to hospitals.

Investigators are looking for eyewitnesses to the accident and are asking drivers who may have dashcam footage to contact law enforcement.

Investigators are looking for eyewitnesses to an accident with a minibus, a timber truck and a passenger car on the M-8 highway near Arkhangelsk, as a result of which, according to authorities, 13 people died, the regional Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported.

On Friday evening, on the border of the Kholmogory and Primorsky districts of the Arkhangelsk region, an accident occurred with a minibus, a timber truck and a car. According to preliminary data from the authorities and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 13 people died, including two children. According to the regional Ministry of Health, eight victims, including three children, were taken to hospitals.

“As part of the criminal investigation into a traffic accident that occurred on the evening of September 11 at the 1180th kilometer of the M-8 federal highway involving a passenger minibus, investigators are identifying eyewitnesses,” the statement says.

In addition, drivers who drove along this section of the road and have video recorders that could have recorded the moment of the incident or the movement of its participants immediately before the collision are also asked to contact law enforcement officers.
