Dell Technologies has experienced significant stock growth in 2026 due to its emerging role as a top vendor for Nvidia-based AI servers. The company has benefited from increased demand from cloud providers and enterprises investing in artificial intelligence infrastructure.
Dell Technologies stock rose 12% on Friday after RBC Capital Markets initiated coverage of the computer maker and gave it an outperform rating and a price target of $640.
Friday's rise comes as Dell shares have more than quadrupled so far in 2026, as the longtime PC maker has emerged as one of the top vendors for Nvidia -based servers and related equipment that cloud companies and enterprises are snapping up for artificial intelligence.
"With no signs of slowing, we believe DELL continues to be well positioned to benefit from a multi-year AI infrastructure spending cycle," RBC analyst David Paige wrote in the note on Thursday.
Dell has $95 billion in sales in its server order backlog that it hasn't yet started to fill, and it sold about $16.4 billion of AI servers in its second quarter, RBC said.
Dell reported second-quarter earnings earlier this month that surpassed estimates and the company upped its fiscal full-year forecast to $192 billion, which would be a nearly 70% increase in sales over last year.
Dell executives told investors on the earnings call that it is increasing prices because of rising costs for computer parts such as memory, which factored into the elevated guidance.
The computer maker was among the first to ship Nvidia's Grace Blackwell NVL72 racks, highlighting the company's close relationship with Nvidia and its ability to secure supply of the company's GPUs. Dell supplies neoclouds including CoreWeave .
Dell's products that aren't based on Nvidia GPUs, such as storage, are also seeing increased demand driven by AI, with storage revenue rising 26% in the most recent quarter. Effectively, Dell can be a one-stop shop for companies looking to stand up AI infrastructure, according to RBC.
"Dell's best-in-class supply chain represents a competitive moat that differentiates the company during periods of supply disruption, as customers increasingly turn to Dell for a 'calming hand' during periods of supply volatility/constraints," Paige wrote.
In July, President Donald Trump, who has bought Dell shares since returning to office last year, again recommended buying Dell computers.

Analysts recommend investing in AI-related industries, especially in the fields of advanced manufacturing, packaging and memory. It is expected that the peak season in the fourth quarter will drive the performance of technology stocks.

Affected by the sharp fluctuations in the Korean won exchange rate, there has been a rare phenomenon that imported boutiques in Korean duty-free shops are more expensive than department stores. Taking the Dior Lady Bag Mini as an example, it was about 11.7% more expensive when purchased in duty-free shops three months ago. With the recent appreciation of the Korean won, the same bag is now about 150,000 won cheaper in duty-free shops. Duty-free operators also frequently adjust their base exchange rates. Lotte, Shilla, Shinsegae and Hyundai have adjusted their base exchange rates from 1,400 won to 1,350 won per U.S. dollar to cope with exchange rate fluctuations and maintain price competitiveness.

The Financial Services Agency has decided to start building a price information infrastructure in order to revitalize the secondary market for corporate bonds. By collaborating with industry organizations to support the design and construction of information systems and making it easier for institutional investors to buy and sell corporate bonds, we support companies in raising funds for growth investments. The idea is to increase transparency by including relevant budgets in the budget request for fiscal year 2027 and expanding the disclosure of information such as prices and redemption dates, which is currently limited to some stocks.

Investment advisory institutions pointed out that Taiwan stocks are insufficiently funded and more bullish drivers are needed to regain the 47,000 level. Foreign capital was oversold, volume was reduced, and small and medium-sized stocks retreated deeply. It is recommended to lay out the core AI supply chain and low price-to-earnings ratio stocks. It is estimated that the market range next week will be between 45,000 and 48,000 points.

In order to provide emergency support to small and medium-sized businesses suffering from a surge in oil prices or disasters, Pyeongtaek City plans to set up a 'Small and Medium Business Revitalization Fund' worth a total of 12 billion won, accumulating 3 billion won every year for four years starting next year. According to statistics from the General Accounting Office, Taiwan's household consumption structure has changed significantly in the past 30 years. The proportion of expenditures on food, beverages, tobacco, clothing and footwear has dropped significantly, while residential services, transportation and information and communications have declined slightly or stagnated. On the contrary, restaurant and accommodation expenditures have increased from 8.16% to 14.19%, and medical care expenditures have increased from 9.96% to 14.08%, reflecting the increase in dual-income families, the normalization of eating out, and the increase in passive medical expenditures brought about by a super-aging society.
