Actor Jacob Batalon married Veronica Leahov at Château de Tourreau, France

Actor Jacob Batalon - famous for playing Ned, Spider-Man's best friend in the Marvel universe - married interior designer Veronica Leahov.

According to People, the wedding took place at a castle dating back to the 18th century - Château de Tourreau - in the town of Sarrians (France) from August 25 to 27. The star couple invited 56 guests including "Spider-Man" couple Tom Holland - Zendaya. Both starred with Jacob Batalon in four Spider-Man movies (2017-2026). Batalon invited three Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) co-stars, Remy Hii, Zach Barack and Tony Revolori, to be best men.

Before holding a series of wedding parties, the bride and groom had a private civil marriage ceremony at a court, the time and location of which have not been disclosed. After Jacob Batalon completed the global promotion of Spider-Man: Brand New Day (released in theaters on July 31), he and his wife held a celebration party with family and friends in the south of France.

In an interview with People on September 2, the couple said they wanted the wedding to be like a several-day experience so that all guests could come relax and have fun. They also emphasize keeping the wedding private so they can gather with people who are "truly a part of their lives" and enjoy the weekend together. "The people we love from all over the world coming here to spend three days with us makes everything more meaningful," the pair added.

Jacob Batalon and Veronica Leahov will go on their honeymoon to a secret location in the tropics to "escape the busy pace of life" and enjoy the period of being married. "For us, marriage is like the beginning of a beautiful new chapter. We want to continue growing up with our other half, traveling, supporting each other's dreams, building a home and eventually expanding our family," the couple said.

Both also expressed excitement about experiencing simple things in life after marriage. "Being able to spend the rest of your life with your best friend is the most special thing," Batalon and Leahov added.

According to the news site, Jacob Batalon, currently 29 years old, and Veronica Leahov, 34 years old, knew each other through some mutual friends. The two first met in October 2023, having their first date a few weeks later. Both said their feelings developed naturally, being both close friends and lovers. Batalon proposed to Leahov in New York in early March 2025. A few days later, the two announced their engagement on Instagram.

Jacob Batalon is a Filipino-American actor, born in Hawaii. He is known to many people for his role as Ned Leeds - Peter Parker's (played by Tom Holland) best friend in Marvel's Spider-Man movies. Batalon also appeared in Avengers: Endgame (2019) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018). In addition to the superhero film series, he participated in many other projects such as the movie The Wrecking Crew (released in January), the TV series Reginald the Vampire (2022-2024).

Veronica Leahov was born in Moldova - an Eastern European country located between Romania and Ukraine. She lived in Belgium from 2014 to 2017 before coming to New York to earn a master's degree in interior design. Leahov currently owns the Veroh brand, specializing in producing bedding, mattresses, and household appliances.
