Argument during snooker match ends with man shot dead in Campinas

According to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), the confusion began during a pool match. After the argument, the victim left the bar and returned shortly afterwards with a gun.

Still according to the SSP, upon returning, the victim pointed the gun at the man with whom he had argued. At that moment, the threatened man's brother took the gun from the victim's hands and shot him.

The victim was taken to UPA Anchieta, but did not survive his injuries.

After the crime, the suspect fled with the gun that was with the victim, according to the Military Police.

Hours later, police found the weapon in a house linked to the suspect's family. At the scene, they also seized two other weapons registered in his father's name.

According to the PM, the gun that was with the victim belonged to her father, who is a criminal agent.

Documents, ammunition and a cell phone were also seized, which will undergo forensic examination. The case was registered as a homicide by the Civil Police.
