Fire extinguished in a truck carrying cars in Doğubayazıt

The fire that broke out in the trailer of a truck carrying a car in Doğubayazıt district of Ağrı was extinguished with the intervention of fire brigades.

According to the information received, a fire broke out in the trailer of a truck carrying cars while waiting in line at Gürbulak Truck Park location, for an unknown reason. Doğubayazıt Municipality fire brigades were dispatched to the area upon the notice of the surrounding people who noticed the dense smoke rising from the trailer. The teams arrived at the scene in a short time and intervened in the fire after dense smoke covered the cars in the two-storey transport section of the truck.

Since the vehicles were close to each other, the teams worked hard to prevent the flames from spreading to other cars in the trailer. In order to prevent the fire from growing, security measures were taken in the surrounding area during the intervention.

Some citizens also supported the fire brigades while they intervened in the fire. Citizens helped carry the hoses used in fire extinguishing efforts. As a result of the work of the teams, the fire was taken under control and completely extinguished.
