Prime Minister Üstel Announced that the Number of Missing People is 15

THE NUMBER OF OUR MISSING PEOPLE IS 15

Prime Minister Üstel stated that the search efforts continue uninterruptedly by mobilizing all means and said, "As a result of the efforts carried out so far, we have reached 5 casualties. The number of people who lost their lives is 13, and the number of people who are still missing is 15."

"OUR TEAMS' WORK CONTINUES UNINTERRUPTED"

Stating that no new losses have been reported as of today, Üstel said, "As the days progress, the conditions of the work carried out under the sea and inside the sunken ship become increasingly difficult. However, despite all the difficulties, our teams working from the air, sea, undersea and land continue their work uninterrupted."

"THE SHIP MAY BE DELIVERED TOMORROW"

Üstel emphasized that he will go to Istanbul tomorrow and discuss the reports prepared by organizations experienced in deep sea shipwreck studies and ship recovery operations, and said, "I will also meet with senior officials of the ship's insurance company and evaluate the situation. After my contacts in Istanbul, I will go to Ankara and hold meetings at the highest level. I will evaluate the current situation, the reports received and the new steps that can be taken. Then, I will return to the country and share the road map with the families of the missing and the public."
