Two men are filmed pushing a cart with a body to hide it in the woods of Aparecida de Goiânia

Two men were filmed pushing a cart with a body to hide it in a forest in Aparecida de Goiânia, police told TV Anhanguera. According to Military Police lieutenant Roberto Luiz Póvoa Filho, one of the suspects was arrested and told the police that the crime was motivated by drug debts.

The body was found this Friday (28). The names of the suspects were not released and, therefore, g1 was unable to contact the defense for a position. In the images from the surveillance cameras, it is possible to see the two men pushing an apparently empty cart of recyclable materials during the night (see above).

Half an hour later, the two men appear again in the images placing a mattress and a tire on top of the cart, with the help of a third person. The two continue down the street pushing the cart to a forest at the end of the street. Chacareiro Sebastião Serafim told TV Anhanguera that he heard the noise of the two.

"When I arrived, they were already going up with the cart. They stopped and I said: 'What are you doing there?'

According to TV Anhanguera, the body of an unidentified man was inside the cart and the suspects set it on fire in the farm area. The next day, the farmer returned to the scene and found the charred body with his hands tied. According to him, the flames were already out.

"I came to check what it was. I arrived and found the body there. But who it is, I don't know, I don't know who or who. As I don't carry a cell phone, I asked the neighbor to call the police", said the rancher.

To g1, the Civil Police reported that the Homicide Investigation Group was at the place where the body was found and requested forensic examinations to identify the victim. According to the Civil Police, there is no precise information about how the crime occurred. The Scientific Police informed g1 that the time needed to identify charred bodies depends on the complexity of the charring, but can last around 30 days.
