Subsidies from ARiMR for farmers: Up to PLN 120,000. PLN for processing and RHD

What can the grant be used for?

Subsidies from ARiMR are intended to support the development of agricultural retail trade (RHD) and processing activities on farms. The funds can be used, among others, for:

- purchase of new machines and equipment for processing, packaging and cooling of agricultural products,

- construction, expansion or adaptation of buildings used for processing and storage,

- investments in modern payment terminals, computers and software,

- pro-ecological activities, such as installation of photovoltaic panels, heat pumps or sewage treatment plants,

- costs of preparing a business plan.

Importantly, support only applies to the production of processed products on the farm. You cannot get a subsidy just for preparing unprocessed products for sale.

What are the support levels?

Farmers can choose one of three levels of support depending on the scale of the planned investment:

- PLN 30,000,

- PLN 60,000,

- PLN 120,000.

The funding will cover up to 65 percent of eligible costs. Up to PLN 500,000 is planned for micro-entrepreneurs continuing processing activities. PLN support, with a refund of up to 50 percent of the costs.

What criteria must be met?

To receive a subsidy, the application must obtain the appropriate number of points in the ARiMR assessment. The following are awarded:

- the applicant's age is less than 41 years,

- implementation of the goals of the "Farm to Fork" strategy,

- pro-ecological investments,

- project innovation,

- the woman's status as an applicant,

- location of the farm in less favored areas (LFA),

- insurance in KRUS.

Additionally, the farm must have an economic value of at least EUR 25,000, unless the applicant is a beneficiary of the premium for young farmers.

How and when to submit an application?

Applications can only be submitted electronically via the ARiMR Electronic Services Platform (PUE ARiMR) from October 1 to November 2, 2026. Paper applications will not be considered - the only exception is the personal submission of a bill of exchange to the regional branch of ARiMR.

Fast withdrawal of funds

One of the advantages of the program is the quick support payment mechanism. As much as 80 percent of the granted amount will go to the farmer within 6 months of the decision to grant aid.

The remaining 20 percent will be paid after the investment is completed and the final payment application is submitted.

A chance for development and independence

The program budget is as much as PLN 86.15 million. Subsidies for the development of processing and RHD are not only an opportunity to modernize the farm, but also to increase independence from purchase prices and improve the profitability of own production.
