Moments of horror in Düzce: A truck crashed into a car, flew down the bridge and burned

In Düzce, a truck went out of control after hitting a car on the Anatolian Highway, flew off the bridge and burned. The truck driver escaped at the last moment by jumping out of the vehicle.

The accident occurred at around 14:00 in the Küçük Melen location on the Anatolian Highway in the direction of Istanbul. An aluminum truck with plate number 49 AB 667, driven by Iranian national Mortaza Ghassemi, crashed into a car whose license plate was unknown.

The truck went out of control after the crash, flew off the bridge and burned. The driver escaped by jumping from the vehicle before the truck fell off the bridge. Upon the notice of those who saw the accident, highway gendarmerie, health and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene. While the fire was extinguished with the intervention of fire brigades, an investigation into the accident was launched.
