The premiere of the cartoon “Captain Nevelskoy and the Land of the Black Dragon” from the Khabarovsk studio “Dream” took place in Moscow.

Producer Ilya Kuznetsov noted the unique style and theme of the cartoon.

MOSCOW, September 13 - RIA Novosti. The premiere of the cartoon “Captain Nevelskoy and the Land of the Black Dragon” from the Khabarovsk studio “Dream” took place in Moscow on Sunday, reports a RIA Novosti correspondent.

“The cinema that Dreamlet makes today, the film that you will watch today, no one makes this in Russia. With such a style, on such topics, few people talk to the audience. Therefore, your feedback is very important for us,” producer Ilya Kuznetsov said at the premiere.

Earlier, at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), an animation project about the Far Eastern expedition of Admiral Gennady Nevelsky was presented to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The plot was based on the real First Amur Expedition of Admiral Gennady Nevelsky, thanks to which the eastern borders of Russia were strengthened without firing a single shot, and the Amur region and Sakhalin were annexed to the country.

The film was made using a unique technique of classical 2D frame-by-frame animation with live orchestral music. The film was created with the support of the Cinema Fund, the government of the Khabarovsk Territory, the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, and the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and Arctic.
