Lin Yuyi, director of the Taipei City Feicui Reservoir Management Bureau, is suspected of embezzling public funds and is under investigation for corruption.

Taipei City Feicui Reservoir Management Bureau Director Lin Yuyi was suspected of improper misappropriation of public funds during his tenure. The Independent Commission Against Corruption filed a case yesterday (20th) after receiving the report. Today, under the command of the Taipei District Prosecutor's Office, it searched 2 locations and notified Lin Yuyi and four handlers to report to the case.

The Integrity Procuratorate recently received a report that Lin Yuyi was suspected of improper misappropriation of public funds and other corruption cases when he was the director of Feicui Reservoir Management Bureau. Now, under the command of the prosecutor of the Beijing Procuratorate, Lin Yuyi and four persons in charge were notified to report to the case. Two locations were searched at the same time, relevant documents were retrieved, and the investigation is ongoing.

As for the purpose, amount, flow and responsibilities of relevant personnel, the purpose, amount, and flow of the funds involved in the case still need to be further clarified by Jian Lian.

Lin Yuyi has a doctorate in engineering from the Institute of Soil and Water Conservation of National Chung Hsing University. He has more than 30 years of public service experience. He has served successively as the Chief Engineering Department of the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau of the Council of Agriculture, Director of the Taipei City Geodetic Engineering Department, Deputy Director of the Industrial Development Bureau and Kaohsiung City Urban Development Director. After his retirement, he served as the president of Hechun Technical College. After Jiang Wanan took office in December 2022, he appointed Lin Yuyi as the director of Feicui Reservoir Management Bureau, which has been for about three years and eight months.
