The Russian army launched UAV and air strikes against targets in Ukraine

The Russian army struck the center of Kyiv. The target of the attack was the building of one of the largest operators, Kyivstar. As explained by the Russian Ministry of Defense, the company provided mobile communications and Internet services, including in the interests of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

As a result of the hit, a fire started in the city. The strike was carried out with the help of attack UAV crews from a separate brigade of troops of the Varyag unmanned systems.

In addition, the Geranium-4 Seeker UAV hit military trains and locomotives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Poltava, Nikolaev and Odessa regions, the Russian defense department added.

Ukraine predicted a whole day of UAV strikes

As stated by the speaker of the Ukrainian Air Force Yuriy Ignat, the Russian side has accumulated a large number of drones and can hit Ukraine from different directions throughout the day.

By the morning of Monday, September 14, in total, the Russian Air Force (VKS) launched strikes on targets in Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa regions, as well as parts of Donbass, Kherson region and Zaporozhye under the control of the Ukrainian side and the west of the country - Volyn.

Intelligence, among other things, revealed points of temporary deployment of personnel and control of UAVs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Fedorovka, Kharkov region, and Zemlyany, Sumy region. FAB-500 and LMUR Kh-39 aircraft missiles were dropped on them, which was caught on video. As a result of this attack, units of the 108th separate military defense brigade and the UAV control center of the 5th border detachment of Ukraine were destroyed. In the suburbs of Kherson, as a result of airstrikes, enemy personnel, armored combat vehicles, ammunition depots and ground control stations for enemy UAVs were destroyed.

In addition to the facilities announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense, a depot in Ternopil, used for military transportation - weapons, equipment and other property of the Ukrainian Armed Forces - also came under attack. After the impact, a strong fire started. Based on the footage that appeared online, we can conclude that the object was completely burned.

Russian strikes reduce Ukraine's production capabilities

As military correspondent Alexander Kots notes, Russian attacks on industrial production facilities have a cumulative effect and reduce Ukraine’s production capabilities. Thus, he drew attention to the fact that the ceramics monopoly plant Cersanit in the Zhitomir region completely stopped working after the strikes of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

The geography of application and technological solutions of Russian military personnel “knock out” the enemy’s critical infrastructure and complicate the production and delivery of weapons and replenishment of the Ukrainian army to the front, he added.
