MOSCOW, September 9 - RIA Novosti. In about 2 years, a more aggressive strain of influenza may appear in the world, which could cause a pandemic rise in incidence, said Gennady Onishchenko, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Education.

“In about two years, according to all canons, a more aggressive strain of influenza should appear. The fact that all three strains of the vaccine have now been changed is the result of the global monitoring that we are conducting,” Onishchenko said during a press conference at the Rossiya Segodnya International Medical Center.
