DPP South City Council Candidate Chen Jinzhong's General Election was established. Huang Weizhe, Chen Tingfei, Wang Dingyu, and Lin Junxian gathered on the platform

The nine-in-one general election at the end of 2026 has entered the final sprint in less than two months. Tainan Citizen's Progressive Party's East District City Council candidate Chen Jinzhong grandly established his campaign headquarters today (4th). A large number of enthusiastic supporters poured into the scene, and the "frozen garlic" sound was heard constantly. Important figures such as Nan Mayor Huang Weizhe, mayoral candidate Chen Tingfei, and legislators Wang Dingyu and Lin Junxian were all present to raise the momentum to support Chen Jinzhong to win the second seat of the DPP city councilor in the East District.

In his speech, Huang Weizhe affirmed Chen Jinzhong's long-term contribution to the local area and solid service spirit. He specially presented the "Wen Tiao" mascot and called on the folks in the Eastern District to gather their votes to send high-quality experienced and professional talents to the city council.

Legislators Wang Dingyu and Lin Junxian also spoke on the stage. The Eastern District is the cultural and educational center of Tainan. They called on voters to unite and gather votes so that two of the five city council seats in the Eastern District can be nominated by the Democratic Progressive Party.

Tainan mayoral candidate Chen Tingfei also attended the event to explain her "three axes of science and technology" policy, advocating the promotion of AI smart medical care, digital medical records, telemedicine and AI-assisted diagnosis and treatment into the community and primary care, and integrating health examination resources to create a healthy city. Chen Tingfei emphasized that Chen Jinzhong, who has a medical and public health background, is the right person to implement these scientific and technological medical concepts at the local grassroots level. He is also a "key seat" for the DPP to gain a majority in the city council, and called on the villagers to hold on to it with all their strength.

In addition to political figures, many local chiefs, the vice president of Xiu Chuan Medical System, senior directors of Tainan Municipal Hospital, directors of various medical institutions, and representatives of major associations and communities were present to support Chen Jinzhong, demonstrating Chen Jinzhong's deep connections and appeal in the medical field and at the grassroots level.
