The rescue ship Suvorovets arrived at the scene where the Triumph ship caught fire to search for four missing crew members.

A fire on the Triumph ship occurred off the southern coast of Kamchatka, 25 crew members were rescued, four are listed as missing.

The regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under an article on violation of traffic safety rules and operation of maritime transport.

"Suvorovets" arrived at the scene and is looking for crew members who are listed as missing. All passing vessels are joining the search, and they are also inspecting the water area,” said a service representative.

The agency's interlocutor noted that by the time the Suvorovets arrived, pockets of flame and smoke were still observed on the Triumph. According to him, the ship that caught fire is located about 70 miles from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

The Marine Rescue Service added that with the onset of darkness, the search and rescue operation will be suspended and will resume in the morning.

According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Kamchatka Territory, a fire on the Triumph off the southern coast of Kamchatka occurred on Friday evening. Twenty-five crew members were rescued. Seven of them received injuries and burns.

The ship "Perseus" delivered all those rescued to the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on Saturday morning. The whereabouts of the four sailors have not been established; search and rescue efforts are underway. The rescue ship "Suvorovets" was sent to the area of the incident.
