Fenerbachus draws with Lyon, and Dinamo Zagreb does the same with Viking

Turkey's Fenerbahce snatched a difficult draw against its French guest, Olympique Lyonnais, 1-1, on Tuesday evening, in the preliminary round qualifying round for the league stage of the European Champions League. Lyon took the lead five minutes before the end of the first half through Belgian striker Luis Opinda, who joined the team during the current summer transfer period. Fenerbahce succeeded in returning seven minutes after the start of the second half, when Englishman Mason Greenwood, who joined this summer from Olympique Marseille, scored the equaliser. In another match, Croatia's Dinamo Zagreb tied at home with Norwegian Viking 2-2, despite the hosts taking the lead with two early goals scored by Dion Drina Biliu and Mateo Lesica in the sixth and tenth minutes. Viking succeeded in returning before the end of the first half, after Peter Christiansen and Zlatko Trebic scored the equalizing goals in the 26th and 39th minutes. In a third match, the Bulgarian match between Levski Sofia and its guest, AEK Athens, Greece, ended in a goalless draw. The return matches will be held next week to decide the identity of the teams qualifying for the league stage, which includes 36 teams.
