Eduardo Paes proposes expansion of full-time education in Rio de Janeiro

Eduardo Paes, PSD candidate for the government of RJ, proposed this Friday (11) to increase full-time education in the state network. The former mayor participated this morning in a hearing promoted by the newspapers O Globo, Extra and Valor Econômico and by CBN radio. He also said that he intends to begin the recovery of territories dominated by crime in São Gonçalo.

"Main goals: increase full-time education. We will go to 30% (in the state). In the city of Rio, we will end 2028 with 70% of children studying full-time. The State of Rio is far behind the rest of Brazil", he declared. “RJ is the worst Ideb in Brazil.”
