Real Betis defeats Real Madrid with a goal from Troy Parrott and a penalty saved against Mbappé

This Friday, Real Betis inflicted on Real Madrid its first defeat of the season in a match in which the best chances came from visitors, but the opportunism of the Irishman Troy Parrott, scorer of the only goal of the night, and the penalty that Valles stopped Mbappé in stoppage time decided the duel.

The second period was more balanced, partly because the Real Madrid midfielders showed fatigue, suffocated by the very high Sevillian summer season, and also because the changes introduced by Manuel Pellegrini gave freshness to the locals, who came out of their field thanks to Troy Parrott's back play.

The Irish striker, the Betis' most expensive signing this summer, is preceded by a reputation as a scorer that he demonstrated in his third game, when he carefully pushed Courtois' short clearance into the net after a header from Deossa, imperial in the jump, after a corner.
